Feeling Beachy!

This past weekend was my dad’s birthday and our family decided to spend the occasion at our cottage in the OBX. It was breezy and warm when Josh and I came down and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for Josh to take some quick new pics of me for my website! He did a great job. Here was my test shot…

I seriously have the sweetest, most talented and smart fiance’ on the planet!! I really believe when you have a strong connection with the person who is photographing you it really shows in photos. That’s why it’s so important to have a meet-up with me before your session!

See, look how awesome he did! We’re so comfortable with each other that it makes the photos look completely natural and fun 🙂

I guess I was just practicing for our engagement photos coming up on Thursday! I am beyond excited! Amanda and Brent from Millie Holloman Photography are coming up from Wilmington to photograph us goobers in Edenton. Hopefully I can show you guys some sneak peaks in the next couple of weeks! The wedding is only 187 days away!! Yes, the countdown is on!
