Ok. Let me start off by saying, no I am not a wedding photographer, but when it comes to my close family and friends I make an exception for bridal & engagement photos!

And of course I would be photographing my sister’s bridals. If you missed her and her husband’s engagement photos click here! They couldn’t be more dreamy and romantic.

I knew the location of her bridal photos needed to have a classic & timeless feel just like her gorgeous dress from Here & Now Bridal

Our experience at Here & Now was amazing! I would definitely recommend for any bride-to be (P.S. I helped pick out her dress!)

With the right connections we were able to photograph her bridal photos at Bloom Homestead in Edenton and it was the absolute perfect place, even though we had to fight off some mosquitoes!

The happy couple has been married for nearly two weeks now, I am so happy for them!

Ya’ll…I can’t believe this girl is a senior!! I’ve taken her photos every year she’s been in high school and it has been an honor watching her grow into an incredible young woman. This has been my favorite session by far! We chose the same sunflower field from her freshman year and she has definitely grown up since then. She also wanted to take some more “urban” photos so I found a few spots in town that had a city feel to them and I LOVE how they turned out! Over the years not only have my skill improved, but she has turned into a full blown model, am I right?

I am so proud of you, Briana. I hope your senior year is the best year ever!

This session is a special one to me. My sister (technically my sister-in-law, but we are sisters at heart) is getting married!! I am so excited for her and my soon to be brother-in-law on their new adventure. I wanted their photo session to tell their story. They love going to exciting places in the jeep and enjoy paddling through the water in their canoe and kayak. I don’t know about ya’ll but I’m getting serious “Notebook” vibes from this session. Caroline & Taylor’s love story is just beginning and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for them!

I had the opportunity this spring to photograph the Sorrell family while they were vacationing down at the Outer Banks! They were staying at a stunning cottage by the sound, but of course we had to take some photos on the beach too! I loved photographing this awesome extended family, especially those twin girls. How cute are they? Any time I get to photograph people at the beach it’s a plus for me!

Home.

Home is where big brothers play, baby brothers sleep and families cuddle up together.

No wonder why I love photographing families at home!

Baby Caleb was such a dream to photograph. His parents were in awe when he was posed in his little bunny outfit. “This is a win,” they said. I couldn’t agree more. Big brother Eli loved reading books to his new baby brother and mom & dad couldn’t stop giving him sweet kisses. I loved that he was sleeping in a bassinet that is also a family heirloom, how cool is that?

Caleb’s photos made my heart melt and now I have even more baby fever than ever before!
