Every year it brings me joy to photograph families from around the country visiting the Outer Banks and the Minervini family was no exception. This beautiful family was visiting from Chicago! Corolla is such a great place to relax and get away and ended up being a perfect location for their session.

In my 6 years in business I have never had photographed a session that has been so hot that it completely melted off all my makeup, but this one was WELL worth it. I commend Jennifer and Sam for hanging in there and letting me create some amazing images! The session took place in my friend’s backyard sunflower field and then we moved to the water access down at Tynch Town. This was one of my very favorite sessions of all time. Praying that baby Moskowitz gets here soon and safely 🙂

Back in February Marianne & Cray asked me to take their gender reveal photos which included balloons, adorable baby boy outfits and blue smoke fountains (that kind of failed on us). When they asked me to take photos of their newborn baby boy, Charlie, I knew Marianne would have some really creative ideas for his session. Charlie’s nursery theme is “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!”, which I think is so adorable and tried to capture that feeling throughout the photos.

I was thrilled when Ashley and Ryan asked me to take photos of their new precious little girl, Henley. These images bring me back to when I photographed their older daughter’s newborn photos back in 2015. Same nursery, new baby. I love the connection Mattox has with her new baby sister. It is so sweet and innocent. I’m so happy that I get to call this couple and their adorable daughters friends!

With Mother’s Day just around the corner it seems very fitting to post a session I recently did for Lauren and her adorable sons! Lauren wanted the session to have a fresh, springy, green feel to it so I thought a blooming sage fields would be a perfect setting. I have been taking photos since both boys were babies and it’s so fun seeing them grow up into little men!
