What’s better than taking adorable, fall back to school photos? Doing it with your best friend of course! I loved taking Briana’s school photos last year and this time it was double the fun! These photos take place in the Historic Mill Village in downtown Edenton. I had so much fun with these girls and I’m so glad they let me do their makeup too! They are too gorgeous!

This past Saturday I was able to take some super cute fall photos in front of Salty Kisses Kid’s Boutique in downtown Edenton. It felt like the first fall morning we have had this year, perfectly crisp and cool! I got to meet some really cool people and precious kids. I also got to partner up with Paula from Cotton Tales who was making the most delicious looking cotton candy that I have ever seen!

Originally I was suppose to take Bear’s one year photos at the Chowan County fair, unfortunately it didn’t work out but I was able to photograph his FIRST birthday party which happened to be a county fair theme, how fun! I took portraits of the Dunn family back in May (check out the blog post here!) and really connected with them. I’m so glad they asked me to be apart of Bear’s first party!

I was so excited when Karin, from Pennsylvania contacted me about doing a maternity session in the Outer Banks. Of course one of the best places I know on the beach is my family’s cottage in Nags Head and it ended up being a perfect location for the session. It turned out to be a darker, stormier day on the beach but we decided to go with it and I really ended up loving the look of the photos! You can tell that this family is anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new little girl! Congrats Thomas family, praying for a safe delivery!
