Last week I told you about my family trip to Palm Springs, California. It was really nice.

At the airport, going back home

Our hotel, the Westin at Mission Hills

Little archway from our room

The funny thing was that when I got there on Wednesday it was cold and rainy, opposite from what people on Facebook were jealous of. It only rains a few days of the year over there and we just happen to go when it is one of those days.

Oh well…Friday was nice and my mom, sister-in-law Rachel and I went on a tram ride up 8,500 feet up to the snow!

Going up!

Beautiful Mountains!

Yeah…wasn’t really prepared for snow…

Then on Thursday night we decided to go out to eat to celebrate our family friend’s 18th birthday…well actually 3 birthdays, they’re triplets!

We ate at Matchbox in downtown Palm Springs. They specialized in fresh wood fired pizza. And it was AWESOME.

Biscotti with mint chocolate chip gelato. It was AMAZING :)

Also going on was the downtown VillageFest. It was so much fun because the street was full of artists, musicians and wonderful food vendors.

This guy was an amazing musician.

Tristin (one of the triplets) and her boyfriend Trevor having fun…

Ooops….

Our Family picture at the TIA conference gala dinner.

All in all it was a great trip. It was nice just to get away, relax, see some old friends, meet some new ones and bask in the California sun.

If you guys aren’t doing anything this weekend, head downtown to the annual Polar Plunge! I’ll be there as the event photographer and can’t wait to watch as people dive in.

Talk to ya’ll later!
